Parade

Elsie's school has a little parade at the beginning of each year. I think it is to introduce the theme for the new school year. This year the theme is All American and the kindergarten classes chose Cowboys and Cowgirls. I almost didn't bring my camera, but I'm glad I did because I got some cute pictures

The kids walked two by two and they were told to hold hands. Elsie and this little boy were the only two who actually held hands through the whole parade, even when they were just watching. So cute.

Elsie was very excited about her first field trip! I didn't get to go on this trip with Charlotte (I think I had signed up to work in Elsie's preschool class that day) so I was glad to be able to go this time. There are always tons of parents willing to go on field trips at our schools so each group had 2 parents and 2-3 kids. It was a short trip, but a fun one.
