Wave Rider

We went on a group date night with the Creek's and Schwendimen's to a massive warehouse building turned into an all purpose entertainment center. We went to go to the wave rider. Actually, I went to take pictures. I really don't like being cold (it was February!) and I really didn't feel like putting on a bathing suit that day. It was fun though just watching them!

I would like to go back with Aaron and Charlotte.

Pancake Breakfast

Charlotte's  school had a pancake breakfast the morning after Aaron's play. We were all exhausted after being out late the night before, but we managed to make it. I thought the food was pretty gross, but the kids liked it!

Vacation On Mars!

 Aaron's class put on a really cute play. They worked really hard on it and we were so excited to see it. Aaron was the guitar player. No speaking, no singing... just what he wanted!

Backyard Project

Before Nick left for his first 5 weeks of training, I wanted him to plant grass seed so we would have some in the backyard for the summer.

Pretzels

I love to cook and my girls ALWAYS love to help me in the kitchen. I wish I felt the same about their help.

Usually they do silly things like this instead.

But pretzel making is perfect for kitchen helpers.

These also happen to be the best pictures I have of our kitchen, which we finished back in November.

A few months ago there was a recipe for pretzels in the friend ( a children's church magazine we subscribe to). I didn't use the recipe, but Elsie wanted to make CTR pretzels :)

Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day was very fun this year, as usual! We all exchanged handmade cards, and made lots of yummy valentines treats.

After breakfast and getting Aaron and Charlotte off to school, we headed out to the park where we met up with Shalee and her kids.

Then we came home and started getting ready for our fancy dinner!

After dinner, we got to go to see Charlotte perform in her school play, which was an extra special Valentine treat! Unfortunately, we couldn't take pictures :(
