Happy 10th Birthday Aaron!

There's nothing better than a happy, birthday boy! Especially one who is entering double digits! He was quite disappointed that he had to go to school, but he did get to go out to lunch with all of his cousins (there are 6 of them at his school)

Decorating the Tree

We love this little tradition of eating a fancy dinner (even if we are already in our pajamas) and adding a new ornament to our tree.

 

Lila got a bunny in honor of our bunnies Chester, Wally (who turned out to be Sarah) and Flower (who turned out to be a boy)  that we had for most of the year.

Elsie loves nothing more than fancy ballerinas.

Charlotte was cast in her school play "Suessical Jr."

And Aaron's favorite book series of the year was the Diary of a Wimpy Kid  series. He read them over and over and over!

Setting up for Christmas is one of my most favorite activities of the year... and one of Nick's least favorite.

Thanksgiving 2012

This year we roasted and smoked a turkey. They were both delicious!! We couldn't decide which one we liked more, so we will probably just make two each year!

SkyWalk Party

Over Thanksgiving break we had a friend party for Aaron's 10th and Charlotte's 8th birthdays. We went to a trampoline arena that opened up earlier that year. I love easy parties like these especially right in the middle of all the holidays.

Cecil came to visit!

This little man got big!! And he liked his bath much more this time.

Cross Country

Charlotte also made the Cross Country team this year, but the poor girl got sick at school that day and had to miss the first meet.

He looks so old lately! I don't know how he got so big. I both love and hate my kids growing up.
