9 year old boys

Almost every week when I do Aaron's laundry I find wrappers like these when I open up the washing machine. First of all, I should really start checking his pockets, but where is it all coming from?  I don't ever send him to school with candy or junk food in his lunch (except maybe a homemade cookie sometimes). It isn't in our house either. I don't buy it. And, I doubt any one is trading their candy and junk food for carrots and snap peas!

Chester and Wally

A friend of Nick's at work was getting rid of two little rabbits and offered them to him. We have been contemplating the idea of letting Aaron have a dog, and thought that maybe this would be a good introduction to being pet owners. So, we went for it.

The were all very excited! 

We named the brown and white one Chester and the grey one Wally (even though Lila cried because she wanted to name one of them Sarah after our babysitter)

The day after Easter was a day off of school, so we went to the zoo with Daddy and then came home and tried out our new bathing suits that the Easter bunny left!

Egg Hunt

After church we went home and woke up our daddy. Then headed over to my mom's house for a BBQ and Easter egg hunt. After Nick being gone for 5 weeks and then me being gone about a week recovering, we were all so happy just to be together. The fact that it was a holiday made it even better!

Easter Morning

Nick drove all through the night so he could surprise us Easter morning! He looked at Easter baskets and ate breakfast with us, then fall fast asleep while we got ready for church!

None of these group shots turned out perfect, but everyone looks good in at least one of them :)
