Aaron's Field Trip

Aaron has been studying California all year and the focus right now is on missions . His class went on a field trip to a school in Madera that has build a miniature mission and does presentations about California history for field trips. It was really fun to see that the students at the school do most of the presentation.

I have been on almost all of the kids field trips (they go on tons at their school) but I rarely bring my camera. I honestly love not having the burden of the camera to carry and pull out, plus our lens is broken, but I really wish I had more pictures from this school year. It has been such a fantastic one! I love all the kids teachers. They have done so many interesting things. I will try to be much better next year. I am glad I got pictures of this trip.

Doll Picnic

 These girls love their dolls. They have indoor tea parties almost on a daily basis. Today I persuaded them outside to enjoy the sunshine.

Valentine's Day

I spent the night before making all kinds of yummy Valentine's treats. Probably too many, but they were all enjoyed! I was pretty tired the next morning, but it is so fun to see all the cards that the kids (girls) leave for everyone to open in the morning. 

After breakfast I sent everyone off to school with their Valentines to pass out in class, then a little while later Lila and I took Nick a special Valentine lunch as work.

Later that evening Nick and I made spicy lamb ravioli for dinner and it was delicious!
