Meeting Cecil

The very anticipated arrival of baby Cecil finally came on June 11! My kids couldn't have been more excited. He is such a perfect little baby. We love him!

How to Project

Aaron and an assignment in class to show everyone how to do... whatever he wants! We had just finished building a new fence in our backyard so we decided to make a fence out of Popsicle sticks. We bought tons of Popsicle sticks and let all of his classmates follow along and make one too.

It was fun to watch him teach the class!

Charlotte's Open House

Charlotte had a good teacher this year too. She wasn't the warm, sweet type. But she did challenge Charlotte and she learned a lot because of it. 

Her school has a big Art Gallery in the Cafeteria of all the work the kids do with the Art teacher throughout the year. For some reason all of Charlotte's Art work was up by the ceiling so I couldn't get a close up shot. Hers is the top middle of the next two pictures.

Aaron's Open House

Aaron had the most amazing teacher this year. I was so sad to see the year end. Aaron loved her and she helped him to actually enjoy school. (At least some of the time!) She did so many fun projects and she loves art. She exposed the kids to so much and I can't wait for Charlotte to be in her class in 3rd grade.

These are just some of the projects from the year. (I'm posting all of these pictures in case someday I decide that we don't need to keep all of them.)

Share Bears

Charlotte's play was a cute little play about a bear who always shares. She was a Baker Bear. Unfortunately we were sitting on the wrong side of the auditorium to get very many good pictures. Then right as the play started the lady sitting in front of me held up her video camera right in front of my face so I could barely see anything! The only pictures I got were of Lila, waiting for the show to begin, and then at the end when I think her battery died.

Charlotte is going to a new school next year and she will really miss these girls!

Mother's Day

Despite Nick being in Oklahoma City, I had a wonderful Mother's Day! I even got breakfast in bed!!
