loving spring

I've been wanting to take advantage of all of the blooming trees for a while. Last week the blossoms were still on the tree, but I kind of like the petals on the ground. It reminds me of a wedding.
Ali and I both took shots. Here are my favorites.

Lila has caught her first cold and could have used a tissue

I can't decide if I like this one better in color or not.

Which do you prefer?

I like the color the best. I think the setting sun puts a golden tone that I just love in photographs, and the color just gives so much life to it :) I love all of them though, those orchards are gorgeous right now!

We just drove north on Sunnyside past Nees and there was this beautiful orchard. One side was fenced off with barbed wire.....but the the other side was open so we felt welcome to run free!

Beautiful shots! I like the color pics because of the lighting. Don't you think Ali looks so maternal with a kiddo in her arms? She will make a good mommy some day. Can you believe there are no blooms in Portland yet? Still very wintery.

I love these shots! I especially like the ones of Ali running with your kids, Elsie's back by herself and I like the colored shot with your family, but really all 3 look great. While looking at these shots of blossoms I actually sneezed, probably b/c of Oklahoma hay fever, but it made me laugh anyway.
