Apples!!

(Charlotte, making peanut butter fudge in her apple skirt, pre hair-cut)

I saw this cute print at the fabric store a few months ago and I loved it. They didn't have much left so I bought the rest. I pulled out one of my Pink Fig pattern (I came across a sale and all of her patterns were half off, I bought 5!) and I had enough to make a skirt for Charlotte and Elsie.

These skirts were so simple to make I almost felt silly for buying the pattern. I did learn how to make a project look more professional and finished though and that alone was worth it.

If you sew you will know how frustrating it was to find this after I was ALL finished.

But I was able to fix it, and now my girls (two of them) have new super cute skirts that we won't see anybody else wearing!

(I have washed and dried these skirts several times and they are holding up beautifully!)

Look at you! Those are adorable. Is there anything you can't do? :)

Thanks again for supporting Brie and her project last weekend.

I didn't know you sewed! The skirts are adorable :) You inspire me to re-learn how to sew. Let's see if I ever get around to it.
