Nick, Alex, and did I see Desi again on the drums?! How fun! Was it this instead of the super-bowl? if so, you didn't miss much ;) and I really love Alex's dress.

The best part of being in the Freeman Family Band is watching Desi drum. The song will be going great, Desi singing and drumming. then, suddenly, no drums. I look up and see Desi grab her cell phone and text a few words, then the drumming starts up again this can happen 4 or 5 times during one song. None of the other musicians even look up or say anything. I've never seen anything like it. I laugh every time I think about it.
Yes, this was the first Freeman Family Band practice that I had been to and I couldn't believe that no one said anything to Desi either. I guess everyone is just so used to her with that cell phone in her hand that they don't know any different!
i really must be used to it cause i didn't even notice! oh gosh
This is so fun! I heard about it from my dad but I would love to "hear" it too! That is hilarious about Desi.
