Nick's family was able to come and visit with us for his birthday so we got to visit with them Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday night we went to Luna's for dinnerAaron and Charlotte got to pretend to be on a date (or at least that's what I said to convince them that it would be fun to sit alone rather then at the big table with everyone else).
Then Sunday after church we had friends and family over for dinner and cake and ice cream.
On Monday night we had our own little party
I let the kids pick out whatever they wanted to but for Dad (mostly). Here's what they came up with.

blake has those shorts. from target, right? he wears them a lot.
yellow cake with chocolate frosting. you sure he's not a freeman? (i guess that's a pretty gross thought, huh?) haha.
The banners are pretty much an all day project... usually take about 5-6 hours. At least Marci's did. Mine had some pre-made stuff I downloaded. Do you have photoshop? I'm not sure how to do them without it...
Looks like the party was fun. For my birthday this year I thought there were way too many candles on the cake, it looked a lot like Nick's. And I love your 30 reasons you love Nick post. I also LOVE Ili in his "blues" uniform which are a lot like Nick's pilot uniform. If men our husbands understood how hot we think they are in uniforms, well most uniforms :)
