Kindergarten Carnival

I am still trying to get caught up. Instead of a Kindergarten graduation Aaron's school has a kindergarten carnival. I was kind of sad about it, I really wanted cute graduation pictures, but the kids had way more fun then they would have standing in front of an audience singing songs.

There were 12 groups of kids and 12 stations. I led Aaron's group around to each activity.

The first station was bubbles. Kids can be entertained for hours by bubbles.

There were actually two station in a row that were big bounce houses. By the end of the second one most of the girls were ready to rest but the boys were still jumping like crazy.

Then after all that jumping, a nice quiet story.

followed by a yummy bag of popcorn!

Aaron was a golfing pro! He got his ball in he hole every time!

He wasn't all that great at musical chairs though. Instead he pretended to make his stuffed animals fight with his friend Austin.

Then more snacks at the snow cone station

Visor making came next. These visors proved to be useful in the summer heat.

Ping-pong ball toss. Can you see Aaron's ball in the air right above that guys shoe? This station was pretty boring actually. None of the kids were able to get a ball inside of a ring.

Then was this cute little relay race. The boys got really into helping each other "get ready for work"

then the final station was duck duck goose. By this time the kids were really hot and ready to go sit in the shade and enjoy their Wendy's hamburgers!

It was a really fun day and I'm so glad my kids didn't have conflicting field trips so that I could attend all of their end of the year activities.

Wow, what a fun day! Carnival instead of commencement ceremony...a cap and gown pic would have been cute...I doubt if Aaron agrees though.
